Exploring Bankhead National Forest: Upper Hubbard & Basin Creeks

Welcome to the first of a Sunday series of “Exploring…” videos! Each week, or every other week, I’ll explore a new place with a montage of photos and video highlighting some of the great sights and sounds you’ll find out there.

This week we venture to a lesser known but awesome place in the Bankhead National Forest in Alabama. Along the way we passed the Hubbard Cascades, some of the worst “laurel hells” I’ve ever been through, Buttram Gulf Falls and Gunsight Falls before ending the day at Kinlock Shelter.

*Please note this is rugged, difficult terrain with no official trail*
