Travelogue: Upper Elam Creek, Bankhead National Forest, AL 2/7/18

Welcome to the first of a Wednesday series of Adventure Travelogues! Every Wednesday after a hike I’ll have a new video with a montage of photos and video. Unlike the “Exploring…” series, which is meant to cover larger areas and no narration, these videos will likely cover small areas, and I’ll work to talk about some of the interesting little things I find along the way.

Today’s video features some off trail exploration along the upper portions of Elam Creek in the Bankhead National Forest, AL. We set out to find Blowing Springs, and enjoy a warm January day here.

*Please note this is rugged, difficult terrain with no official trail*
